1. TIMSS – Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study

  • Assesses Mathematics & Science in Grades 4 & 8.

  • TIMSS is widely used for policy evaluation and tracking education trends.


2. PIRLS – Progress in International Reading Literacy Study

  • Assesses reading literacy at Grade 4.

  • Qatar actively participates and releases detailed national reports.


3. Cambridge Checkpoint (Primary)

  • External exams marked by Cambridge examiners.

  • Conducted at the end of Primary (Year 6).

  • Measures core subjects: English, Maths, Science.


4. IGCSE / International GCSE (External Examination Boards)

  • Offered through Cambridge (CAIE) and

    Pearson Edexcel certified centers.

  • Qatar schools administer IGCSE, AS Levels, and A Levels as formal external exams.
